Gateless Gates Media ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BinauralBreath mobile application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

Apple HealthKit Data

The BinauralBreath app integrates with Apple's HealthKit framework to provide a seamless health and wellness tracking experience. Specifically, the App may ask for your permission to read and write "Mindful Minutes" and "Sleep Analysis" data to your personal Apple Health database.

We are strictly committed to the following regarding your HealthKit data:

  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, transmit, or process your HealthKit data on our servers. All HealthKit data remains locally on your device or securely synced via your personal Apple iCloud account.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, share, or disclose your HealthKit data to any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
  • Core Functionality Only: We use HealthKit solely to enhance your experience within the App by logging the time you spend meditating or relaxing, so you can track your own progress within the Apple Health ecosystem.

Other Data Collection

Outside of the local HealthKit integration, the BinauralBreath app does not collect any personal data, usage telemetry, or identifiable information. We believe your meditation and wellness journey should remain entirely private.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not collect or store any of your data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. All data associated with the App lives entirely on your device and, where applicable, in your personal Apple Health and iCloud account, under your control at all times:

  • Health data (Mindful Minutes, Sleep Analysis): You can review, manage, or delete this data at any time in the Health app (Health app → Browse → search for the data type → Show All Data → swipe to delete), or revoke the App's HealthKit access entirely in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → BinauralBreath.
  • App preferences and session history: Stored locally on your device. Deleting the App from your device permanently erases this data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
